Item description

Vintage original 7 x 9 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1980s television drama, DYNASTY. The image depicts Linda Evans and Rock Hudson. This actual photograph was used for publication in a newspaper and has a grease pencil mark in the corners. Affixed to the bottom of the verso (which folds over to the recto) is the original paper snipe that describes the photograph. Also affixed to the verso are two newspaper clippings of this photograph. It is in very fine condition as shown. Tragically, Rock Hudson was diagnosed with AIDS early in the epidemic and did not publicly reveal his diagnosis. The related newspaper clipping makes reference that "Hudson knew that he had AIDS but didn't tell her [Evans]." Provenance: The Hearst Los Angeles Herald Examiner newspaper archive.
