Item description
Vintage original 11x14 in. US lobby card from the classic 1960's British mystery/horror film, CHILDREN OF THE DAMNED, released in the US in 1964 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) and directed by Anton Leader. Based upon the novel, "The Midwich Cuckoos," by John Wyndham, six impossibly intelligent children from all over the world with dangerous psychic powers hide in a church in England after the military tries to experiment on them. Besieged, they warn the military to back-off before carnage ensues.
The image depicts a close shot of Dr. Neville (Alan Badel) as he reacts to young Paul (Clive Powell) after the boy has just passed an impossible test. It is unrestored in fine- condition as shown with a Canadian censor stamp.
