Vintage original hand-signed signature of CHARLES "BUDDY" ROGERS. Our consignor of this item met Mr. Rogers in the mid- or late 1980's and he wrote his name, home phone number, and home address in blue ink on the back of a piece of 4.25 x 5.5 in. advertisement for a review of silent film star Esther Ralston's autobiography, "Some Day We'll Laugh: An Autobiography," published in 1985 and the advertisement is dated 1986. Mr. Rogers' house was next door to his former home, the legendary Pickfair, where he lived with his wife, Mary Pickford. Rogers later moved to the house next door, located at 1147 Pickfair Way in Beverly Hills, California. This vintage original signed paper is in near-fine condition with one horizontal and vertical foldline and signs of wear on the corners. This is a very interesting piece, as the star is giving out both his private residential telephone number as well as his home address to a fan. Silent Cinema Inc.
