This is a hand-molded (reproduced from the original shell cameo) cameo of PONYTAIL LADY, with nice detail, IVORY color with BURGUNDY background color on a double layered reproduction brass. Mounted on a reproduction brass hair pin; item is about 4-5/8" long x 2-1/4" wide. Intended to be inserted in hair already up, as a beautiful adornment to your hair, the looks is similar to a tiara adornment. They can also be displayed as a new heirloom. Here is what the full hair pin looks like, it is a brass double prong 3-7/8" long, plus the added height of the pine resin cameo on a brass backing. Stunning. Superb detail.
