This is a hand-molded (reproduced from the original shell cameo) cameo of TWO Sisters, with nice detail, IVORY color with MAUVE backgound color on double layered reproduction brass. Mounted on a reproduction brass hair pin; item is 5-1/8" long x 2-1/4" wide. Intended to be inserted in hair already up, as a beautiful adornment to your hair, the looks is similar to a tiara adornment. They can also be displayed as a new heirloom. Second photo shows what the full hair pin looks like, it is a brass double prong 3-7/8" long, plus the added height of the pine resin cameo on a brass backing. Stunning. BRASS IS A GOLD COLOR.
