Vintage orignal 14 x 22 in. US window card from the 1950's horror thriller, 4D MAN, released in 1959 by Universal-International and directed by Irvin S. Yeaworth Jr. A scientist (Robert Lansing) discovers a formula enabling him to pass through solid surfaces, but he also rapidly ages, which forces him to kill humans in order to reverse the aging process by absorbing his victims' energies. The cast includes Lee Meriwether, James Congdon, Robert Strauss, and Edgar Stehli. The design features artwork depicting scientist Dr. Scott Nelson (Robert Lansing) passing through a cinderblock wall as he reaches out to those around him along with a vignette of female lead Lee Meriwether (in her first film appearance) in the typical unconscious pose. It is unrestored in near-fine condition with one horizontal fold across the center; multiple pinholes in the top theater imprint area with some in the other borders and a few in the image area; two small tears on the bottom border; and light signs of wear in the borders. The light color tints are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading. 4D Man marked the film debut of actors Robert Lansing and Lee Meriwether and featured an early appearance by a young Patty Duke (the 12) as Meriwether's younger sister.
