Goebel Hummel Figurine, Ride Into Christmas TMK6, 1982, #396 2/0 This vintage Goebel Hummel figurine "Ride into Christmas" numbered 396 2/0 has the TMK6 trademark on the bottom. It is initialed by the maker with the number 81 which indicates the date made. The number 1981 is stamped at the bottom of the underneath side, but I think that must be some kind of internal model number rather than the date. The figurine features a young boy merrily riding a sled holding a lantern in both hands. A snow-covered Christmas tree in a basket sits on the back. He truly depicts the notion of getting ready for Christmas. A really nice piece; the colors are vivid and the scene is endearing. It measures The figurine measures a little over 4 inches tall and 4 inches at the widest point. There are two initials with the number 81 in black on the bottom. Made in W. Germany.
