Item description
THE BRASS HALO by Jack Webb Signet Books, First Paperback Printing, August 1958 Condition: Very Good Minus In addition to being the creator and star of the tv series Dragnet, Jack Webb also wrote a number of hardboiled novels featuring an Irish priest and a Jewish police detective in the '50s '60s. This one from 1958 is typical. Cocked spine, modest edge/spine edge wear, small corner crease which slightly affects a few page corners; some unevenness of pages, suggesting the spine was reglued. The binding is intact, though pp 10-11 is less tight than the others. No writing, but lightly marked on bottom edges, and the pages are only lightly toned.
