AIRPLANE 2: the Sequel (dvd) *NEW* disaster and similar items

Brand new factory sealed dvd is Out Of Print (OOP) as a stand-alone and only available as part of a box set. The barcode on the back has a cut thru it, the plastic and paper art as well. This is done at the factory to signify a cut-out or no longer being manufactuered. Vinyl records were done this way too with a cut-out notch on the sleeve you will sometimes find. This sequel strays into science fiction territory by being set aboard a Moon-bound space shuttle but is essentially the same jokes and sight gags reverently reproduced. As Robert Hays struggles with stubborn new technology to shift his ship from a collision course wth the sun and attempt an (of course) impossible lunar landing, Julie Hagerty similarly exercises herself with the usual collection of hysterical passengers, the real reason to see this: William Shatner, Sonny Bono, Raymond Burr, Chuck Connors, Rip Torn, John Vernon, Laurene Landon, Jack Jones, Richard Jaeckel, Sandahl Bergman, Herve Villechaize, Kitten Natividad, and Chad Everett. Also returning from the original is Lloyd Bridges, Peter Graves, and Stephen Stucker. Brief snatches of the music from 'Battlestar Galactica' (1978) add to the cozy sense of all-round knowing familiarity.
