Contains the fold out of antique Cigar Labels in beautiful color.(These are embossed and with gold.)
Cover “Train Crossing” by artist Ernest Hamlin Baker
Completely illustrated, some in color, including many wonderful advertisements.
Articles include three-part United Fruit (with map); A P and the Hartfords; Charleston, S. C.; profusely illustrated 10,000 Tons of Fighting Cat (USS Indianapolis); Failure of Bank of US; a Portfolio of Cigar Label Art. Full page color ads include Dodge, Packard, Chevrolet Truck, and Lucky Strike by Howard Chandler Christie.

One of the premier magazines of it’s time, founded by Henry Luce. He also, with partner Briton Hadden, founded Time magazine in 1923. Luce declared of Fortune magazine that "American business has importance - even majesty - so the magazine in which we are able to interpret it will look and feel important - even majestic."
CONDITION: Front cover has toning and small stains. Edges have tiny rubs, corners have very small bends. Inside, including the cigar labels, is fine. A beautiful magazines!

An item described, as "excellent", can be perfect or have minor flaws, from age, and that I feel any collector would be glad to have. If you have any question on condition, please ask.
