The stainless steel sponge-iron used in Super Gator Curved Grooming Shears, the same metal used to make Katana Samurai Swords, is triple-tempered for ultra pureness, creating a metal density that provides supreme balance.
Rockwell Hardness rating of 59 for an amazingly durable blade edge
Optional ring inserts create a better fit and reduce rubbing and blistering
Ultra smooth scissoring capabilities, balance, and comfort
The teardrop-shaped thumb hole and angled thumb ring on the Super Gator Straight Grooming Shears set your hand in a natural position. Because the thumb is not overextended during scissoring, the tension on the hand and wrist is greatly reduced, and scissoring is accomplished with less effort. Calibrated "click-plate" tension dial allows you to customize the tension of the shear. The tension dial "clicks" your settings into place with each turn, so tension will not loosen during scissoring.
