A Simplicity 7940…a Misses’ Simple To Sew Jiffy Dress Sewing Pattern in Size 14. The pattern is cut and all the pieces are there. The original seamstress cut out V. 3. The instructions are there, but have a tear. The envelope is in very good condition with tanning, tiny tears and a store stamp. The envelope flap is still attached. Copyright 1968. I got carried away by the Sears Roebuck Co 1255 stamp on the envelope front. Hard to remember that department stores used to carry patterns, fabric and notions. Pattern Description “The dress with raised neckline has back zipper. V. 1 2 have long set-in sleeves. V. 1 3 have ribbon trim and optional purchased belt. V. 2 has top-stitched self fabric belt.
