Vintage Mid Century RAW HIDE Shade Sail Cone and 47 similar items

This is a vintage Mid Century RAW HIDE Shade Sail Cone Mosaic Design Lamp Very cool and awesome unique Mid Century lamp! I estimate it 1950s, perhaps a little earlier The lamp shade (and really, the entire lamp, because of its unique design) is made of RAW HIDE It has a nice shape to it, almost like a 3D sail boat or cone Has a beautiful mosaic art design that includes tiny black pieces of an unknown material (appears to be some kind of seed) The structure/frame of the lamp is heavy metal, possibly cast iron The lamp does WORK Measures approx 10" in width and depth and 21.5" tall Condition Details: Lamp has a little bit of wear to spots on the raw hide shade, mostly around the corners and edges where shade has separated from the metal structure of the lamp. The lamp does work. A few of the tiny pieces that made up the mosaic pattern appear to have come off over time. I gave the lap a slight outer wipe down but it could use a more through cleaning.
