Vintage original 8x10 in. U.S. color-tinted glossy paper-stock photograph of the popular actress, singer and dancer, ALICE FAYE c.1933. The image features a very close portrait publicity shot of the platinum blonde actress holding a sleeve from her dress near her face as she looks off-camera with a beautiful smile. A facsimile of her signature is featured in the bottom right corner. As indicated by a rubber stamp in light black ink on the bottom of the verso, this photograph was once in the archive of Levin's Nickelodeon in Sherman Oaks, California. Printed on a glossy paper stock, this vintage original photograph is in fine- condition with a light 1.75 in. diagonal crease on the top left corner that goes through the background area; signs of wear on the top right corner and in the top border; 6 small horizontal or diagonal creases in the top half of the right border which may enter the image area; a 0.75 in. horizontal tear on the right border above the center; light signs of wear on the bottom right corner and along various portions of the edge of the bottom border; a light 1 in. diagonal crease in the top third of the left border that enters the background area that meets with a 1.25 in. vertical crease in the left border above it; and numerous small and unobtrusive surface imperfections from being handled over time that do not affect the image quality of this beautiful original photograph.
