In 2 hours 15 minutes, Mr. Skelton, who is 77 years old, kept a near-capacity audience in near-constant laughter with jokes, anecdotes and character sketches on subjects that ranged from New York City and crime to Donald Trump, television evangelists, wives, old age and musings about the afterlife. ''People in hell,'' Mr. Skelton wondered. ''Where do they tell people to go?'' Mr. Skelton began his career in 1923 and has worked in everything from tent shows and circuses to films, radio and television. The combination of talent and experience makes him a formidable comedian. Audiences like the one at Carnegie Hall, which gave him standing ovations at his entrance, during the show and at the finish, surely hope that Mr. Skelton will grow older. But they can scarcely hope that he can grow much better. After 22 years in The Biz, Collecting Everything That Appealed to me, Entertainment-Related...and packing it all up, storing it, hauling it when I moved, only to store it again.... It Is Time To...Let It Go! Some of these Rare Treasures I have had for more than 40 years!! This 1990 Poster, Announcing The Great Red Skelton at Carnegie Hall, is Something Beyond Rare! I have Not seen one like it anywhere, and can't even find it on the Carnegie Hall website! It's been Rolled Up and Stored with Hundreds of Other Amazing Posters...Sadly, some of the Best Ones got damaged during moving (Blade Runner!!! WAS worth a Lot!)...but This is in Nice Shape, for its age, with some slight edge wear. (It is just so hard to keep Paper posters from getting some damage, even rolled up and packed away!) (Any Lines you see were from the sheet of Plexiglass that I used to hold the posters down...and, sorry about the reflections and light glare! Any Actual Damage Will Be Noted!)
