The silver tone necklace chain has a spring ring for a clasp. Bezel tray is lightweight metal - like material and silver tone in color. The last picture is the back of the pendant and it has the same lightweight metal as the front. Pendant has a domed glass cabochon which protects and magnifies the piece of art. The clear glass cabochon is very thick. Pendant is very durable but not waterproof so please do not wear while swimming or bathing.
