Item description
Inspired by an real photo postcard from the 1950s, this 20 inch by 9 inch wooden mini surfboard provides a colorful image of a flying boat, amphibian aircraft taking off from the sea near Santa Catalina Island, California.
The reverse side bears a caption detailing the flying boat schedule at Catalina Island on a postcard-layout. Why it could probably even be mailed - but who would risk such a thing? - this is a decorative conversation piece you'll want to keep close at hand.
Made in the USA of natural wood, the surfboard's colors are bonded to the wood grain, cured and made UV light safe so its permanent weather resistant finish makes the board suitable for both inside and outdoor decorative use.
This mini surfboard may be placed against a wall, fitted with picture hanging hardware, or placed on a stand. We leave it to you to decide how it will display best but it will certainly catch the eye of those who see it.
