Vintage original 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy color photograph from the classic 1950's musical drama, A STAR IS BORN, released in 1954 by Warner Bros. and directed by George Cukor. In this Technicolor remake of the 1937 original, a film star (James Mason) helps a young singer and actress (Judy Garland) find fame, even as age and
alcoholism send his own career on a downward spiral.
The image features an interior medium shot depicting a joyful moment between Oliver Niles (Charles Bickford), Vicki Lester (Judy Garland), Norman Maine (James Mason), and Matt Libby (Jack Carson). As indicated in the bottom left corner, this is photograph number 2 from the set of 8 color photographs. It is in very fine+ condition without any pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws and has only a light curl on the top and bottom, as it does not lie completely flat.
