Vintage Silver Mesh Purse Art Deco Floral and 8 similar items

The following listing is for a gorgeous vintage purse. The purse is sterling silver mesh with a beautifully intricate floral pattern on a wonderfully shaped top. It has the name A. J. Deely inscribed on one side, as well as the town name of Lee, Mass. The Deely's have long been known as one of our prominent families here in Lee. The purse is marked 'Sterling Silver 935' on the interior. This is in very good condition, although it is tarnished as you can see in the photos. It can be cleaned according to your tastes, but I prefer to leave things in original condition and leave that choice up to the buyer. Please note in the close ups that there are a couple of condition issues; One side of the purse does not close tightly. Also, in the shot where I've shown the hallmark, you can see a bit of missing mesh. The snap closure works great. This measures approximately 5" wide by 4 1/4" high. Found in a local attic that we bought the contents of. Great family heirloom, piece of Lee history, or just simply a wonderful vintage purse!!
