This is not really true. is making many changes to returns and forcing conditions on sellers, starting in September and required by Holiday 2015. These are fine if you are selling something like a book, toaster or general item. When it comes to collectible, rare, one of a kind, or say fashions that are new with tag, these conditions are not reasonable. I do the best to describe my items, including measurements and trying to ensure fit. If in doubt, ask questions first. In some cases, especially some of the better items, and because online for fashion can be tough, I do let a buyer see fit, but I ask to be notified before hand and ask that I be notified and the item returned promptly within 24 hours of receipt. If I missed something, something is wrong with the piece, please contact me, lets start seeing if it is something that was listed or shown and was missed, or it was an error on my part. So why not just do the "Hassle Free Returns" - because they can and do greatly affect my bottom line. Hassle Free Returns let a buyer purchase an item, wear it for two weeks, say they don't like it and in most cases the seller also pays the shipping - In short, I would be paying to ship and have shipped back a piece you wear for two weeks and add wear/decrease value of. While says seller can appeal, this is "after the fact" and it becomes a real messy issue. Why post all of this? It is a huge issue. Many sellers, especially in the niche I occupy have a huge issue with it. Many of us also understand that because of this we need to protect ourselves more and that also means many of us will be selling less items, especially better pieces where we are bearing too much risk. This is a lose-lose situation and I promise in the next 12 months, you will start seeing a drop in the quality and availability of a lot of the great items myself and similar seller carry. So long and short, when in doubt, contact me right away. If there are issues with fit or condition of the item - contact me right away. It should not take 2 weeks to receive a garment and not know whether it fits, or if it does not live up to the description. What does happen in two weeks, people might wear a piece out once or twice and take a near new or new without tag and now it is clearly worn. Fixed Price / Best Offers Be sure to look at my fixed price listings as well. Some of these do not show up as regular auctions but are some of my better pieces. As a rule of thumb, if you offer 25% of my asking price it will probably be rejected. 50%, I will probably make a counter offer. 75% - 80% generally gets it done, but as luck will have it, I have had buyers by at full price while offer/counter offers are happening, so if you really want it, best to just Buy It Now Payment Buyer is to prepay and pay shipping in US Funds. Payment is expected in 3 days unless other arrangements have been agreed upon. After 3 days I resserve the right to RELIST or make a second chance offer. Shipping Shipping in the US is generally by USPS Priority Mail International Shipping is generally by Express Mail. PayPal requires delivery confirmation for seller protection as well as I have been noticing much slower deliver Air Mail to Europe and France in general. I do combine shipping, so this helps reduce the charges. In many cases the item arrives in under 5 days, so there is less waiting and less wondering on when the item will arrive. I try and ship 3 times a week (Tues/Thurs/Sat). On some occasions I will miss a shipping day do to travel or my schedule. If you are pressed for time on an item, please let me know ahead of time, or use the Buy-It-Now to help speed shipping. I prefer to ship to PHYSICAL addresses only. If you need top ship to a PO Box or a UPS Store, etc, please contact me prior to bidding. International Bidders I do over half of my sales internationally. Majority of items have no issues. Occasionally there are delays through customs. PLEASE NOTE, ALL CUSTOMS, DUTIES and IMPORTATION FEES are the RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER. I do my best to help avoid this situation by declaring the items as gifts, etc, but it can happen.
