Antique Cabinet Card Photograph. Identified in period handwriting as Warren Brown Robbins, 3-5 months old. Also written on back "David Warren Sprague's grandfather." Photo by Senecal Senecal studio of Hudson, Massachusetts. Measures approximately 4.25 x 6.5 including mount. Condition: This is an original photograph, not a copy or reproduction. It is in excellent condition. Comments: An on-line genealogy search indicates that Warren Brown Robbins was born in 1891 in Massachusetts, the son of George Ephraim Robbins and Roselina Hayward Brown Robbins. He died at the age of 59 in Connecticut. Warren married Carlotta Young Stone in 1920 in Massachusetts. This photo originally came as part of a group photo lot of Robbins family photographs (each sold individually) which included Lucinda Sawyer Hale Robbins, Lucia E. Rogers Robbins, George Ephraim Robbins, Roselina (Rosalina) Hayward Brown Robbins, Charles Henry Robbins, John Frank Robbins, Lizzie Lucinda Robbins Wetherbee, Carlotta Young Stone Robbins, and Warren Brown Robbins. Many of the photographs were taken in studios in Massachusetts. The Robbins line was inter-related to the Brickett / Stone / Brown families and some of their photos may also be found separately in our collections.
