1920s Grace S Putnum Bye Lo 14" Brown Eyes and 48 similar items

A 1920s Grace Storey Putnum, 14" Bye Lo Doll with brown glass eyes, Bent (Frog) Legs, 12" Circumference Bisque Head, Bisque Hands with finger nails, Faint Blonde Eyebrows, painted nostrils, and Individually Painted Eye Lashes. This piece was possibly made by the Kestner Porcelain Factory in Germany. This doll has a 10" high body and a 4" high porcelain bisque head, for a combined height of 14". She is dressed in a vintage, possibly original, long white dress with yellow rose buds and a matching bonnet, as well as a full slip, cloth diaper and knitted booties. The bisque head and hands have no breaks, chips, nor cracks. Her clothing has no stains or tears. The Grace S. Putnum stamp on the back of her head is faint and very difficult to see. She also has a mark etched into the bisque on the left side of her neck (PV91 or PN91). Her soft fabric body has no stains or tears but there are two dated inscriptions written in ink, as this Bye Lo was gifted to a child on at least two different occasions. One of the inscriptions is located on her back. The other is located on her left foot (please see the last 2 photographs of this listing). Please note : This Bye Lo doll's eyes are open and never close when she is not upright, so I will not remove her head before shipping to protect the sleep mechanism.
