Item description
BITS OF HARVARD HISTORY by Samuel F. Batchelder
Harvard University Press, First Edition, 1924
Condition: Very Good
This book contains nine chapters, each covering some area of Harvard University history. Included are "The Singular Story of Holden Chapel", "Harvard Hospital-Surgeons of 1775", "Old Times at the Law School" and "Wanted! -- 'College Characters'". 323 pages, plus many photos and other illustrations. This is a ex-library copy, with indications of the removed cards and the like and a white smudge on the spine (which itself is rather faded); but the book is overall in nice condition, with just a bit of writing on the back pastedown and no library stamps. No dust jacket.
