Vintage Avon Jewelry Photo Locket with Floral Printed Ceramic Cabochon AVON jewelry flower locket measures aprox 1-1/2" x 1-1/4" No chain. This is for the Locket only Add a nice gold chain and Insert your photos inside to make a nice Mother's Day gift. The locket features a violet floral scene on the oval shaped faux-porcelain cabochon, surrounded by a gold bead rope border and that surrounded by tiny white faux seed pearls. The back of the locket and the bale have a delicate crosshatched pattern. My daughter sold Avon back in the 70's and 80's and this was a gift she gave me back then, so I know that is approximately how old this is. CONDITION: Very Good Condition. Never worn. Has been in the bottom of jewelry drawer since the 70's or 80's. Colors on cabochon are clean and bright, not faded or yellow. Gold tone is not worn or tarnished. Inside does show some signs of tarnishing from age. Clasp closure clicks tight, hinges do not feel loose or wobbly.
