Soothing cocoa butter soaks the herbs into your skin so this balm glides on smooth, not greasy. The balm of gilead (cottonwood bud resin), creosote, calendula, and beeswax are all locally and ethically sourced. I harvest balm of gilead from fallen branches and twigs only, not taking any from the living tree. All of the herbs are extracted using a six-month cold infusion for extra potency.
