Item description
This is a remarkable vintage sterling silver Mailbox charm with a movable flag that was crafted back in the 1940s-1950s by Carl-Art jewelry company out of Providence, Rhode Island. The door of the mailbox opens to reveal what looks like letters or mail that is leaning against the inside of the mailbox, but it's actually just the base of the flag that you see. Please view the photo of the mailbox with the door open. This charm is stamped "STERLING" with Carl-Art hallmark on the backside of the mailbox. It is pictured next to a US dime for size comparison. This vintage sterling silver mailbox charm is in excellent condition and retains all of its original aged patina. I offer free combined shipping on multiple charms purchased.
