The brushed silver dial has beautiful slightly golden patina. Applied gold tone Arabic cardinal numbers and the rest Arrow hour markers, gold tone metal tiny nail head type points for second markers. The top of the watch is gold layered over stainless steel; case back is screw back stainless steel. Gold top is a solid thick layer of gold (10K or 14K here) atop Stainless Steel--superior to Gold Filled. Watch features a new rich color brown genuine Crocodile band--good for wrists from 6.5 to 7.5 in. Generic gold tone buckle. Signed Three Times: Movement, Dial and inside caseback. Movement: Girard-Perregaux / 17 Jewels / SWISS / 47GU 760 (Cal. 47GU based on ETA 1256). Automatic movement. Very Nice condition for a watch 60-75 Years old--runs well and keeping good time~Service history is not known. Some scratches to case commensurate with age; the case back has a bit of pitting on outside edges. Swiss Made in ca. 1950's. This is a vintage watch thus is smaller than watches of today; In the '50s this was a full sized watch--today it would be considered mid-sized, good for smaller wrists. Length lug to lug 40mm.
