This listing is for one original American Kodachrome slide made in the US, please see scanned image above. Sometimes the slide might be Ektachrome, Agfachrome or another brand, but it is rare, so in most cases you will receive a Kodachrome slide. I like slides and I have quite a few in my personal collection. Most of the slides in my listings are locations in the US and rarely abroad. Photos were taken by Americans when travelling, vacationing etc. in the US and sometimes abroad. Sometimes the title of the listing has a number that is used to facilitate the finding of the slide by me for mailing purposes and is not relevant to the image itself, the watermark "(c) demarker66" is only on the listing image and is not on the slide itself. Please note: The slides might have defects, damage, scratches, be underexposed, overexposed etc, and I can't go into detail to describe every single slide, so please buy at your own risk. The scan has been edited for color, contrast, sharpness, exposure etc, so the slide you receive could be quite different from the scanned image you see in the listing. The scan you might do yourself could be inferior to the one you see in the listing. If you win the slide, I highly recommend that you request a copy of the scanned image for $1 extra, the scan is about 7000 x 4500 pixels and the file size is around 100 to 200MB of a uncompressed TIF file, I will copy the TIF file onto a DVD and mail it to you, however if you win multiple slides then all your TIF files will be copied onto the same DVD for up to 4GB of storage(please note there will be a $1 charge for every scan copied onto the DVD). Legal stuff about copyright: By buying the original slide, you will become the copyright owner. You also agree to voluntary assign or transferee, an unrestricted non-exclusive license to the seller to use the scanned image for any purpose, including the digital or photographic copying, duplicating, transmitting, publishing and/or showing of same, and the right to re-sell or otherwise dispose of scanned images. Any such use of the image by the seller will always state that the image is copyrighted. If you don't wish to grant the seller the said license, then after auction end, please send the seller a message and include a $2 payment for each slide you won to reimburse the seller for the effort to make and edit the scanned image of each slide, after which the seller will delete the said scanned image.
