Item description
Hand Hammer
Sterling SilverBoston Swan Boat Brooch Pin Pierced Design Vintage Signed H HMeasures about 2 1/2 inches long by 1 1/4 inches high
This Handmade collectible represents a
popular Boston landmark, the Swan Boats. These whimsical boats are foot-powered catamarans which transport visitors through the Public Garden. They date back to 1877 when Robert Pagett, inspired by Wagner's Lohengrin, decided to adorn his boats with large white swans, the central theme of the opera.
