Item description
This is a vintage repousse' Sheffield, England silver plate photo picture frame. I purchased this in the 1980s at Neiman Marcus. The original price tag is behind the easel stand. The frame is marked at the lower right L G or L C Silver Plate Sheffield England. The design is an antique style of scrollwork and florals. The back and side edges are blue velvet. The velvet acts as a frame around the silver. I gave the frame a hand polish. there are some superficial small scratches and rub marks. The frame is very reflective and bright as is. A professional buff would make it even better. the blue velvet has no tears or stains. The outside measures approximately 8 1/4" tall at the longest point x 6" at the widest point x 1/4" thick. I am downsizing and am selling most everything. Non-smoking household.
