Each year featured the two children Frederik Emma on some kind of adventure. The 2004 plate shows them exploring the jungles of Southeast Asia, with a pair of Malaysian tapirs in the background. Frederik?s beloved teddy bear accompanies them everywhere, seen here lower left. The scene is embossed on Danish porcelain and hand painted in traditional Copenhagen blue under the glaze, approximate diameter 7.25 inches (18 cm). Pierced foot for hanging wire. Appropriately marked on the back, including the three wavy line trademark of Royal Copenhagen. Numbered limited edition.
