Even though the first few figures looked buff and muscular (which was a reflection of the Hollywood Schwarzenegger / Stallone trend) the toy line was well received by collectors and Star Wars fans everywhere were happy that their beloved 3.75" action figure line from their childhood continued. Even though Hasbro, Inc. purchased the Tonka Corporation, which included Kenner Products and Parker Brothers, in 1991, they kept using the Kenner logo instead of their own Hasbro logo on the packaging until the Episode 1 toy line in 1999.
