Item description
Antique Meissen Porcelain The Elements Fire Maker Figurine Kandler. Model C97. Under glaze blue Meissen crossed swords mark on the base. This figurine is from a Meissen four elements series that was originally modeled by Johann Joachim Kandler in 1770. This one is titled "The Elements-Fire" The allegorical figure modeled as a cherub seated by a small kachelofen with the kettle resting on a Fire whilst he is making a beverage, Dimensions; 4 3/8 x 4 " x 3 inches.
As mentioned, I inspected this under a black light and see no cracks, chips or sign of a repair of such. It is truly in remarkable condition for an item over 250 years old,
