Item description
Lot of 2 Vintage Bamboo Fishing Poles
1 is lacquered 3 piece sleeved pole that measures 9 feet 4 inches long. There is fishing string wound around top as shown that will need removed. The tip feels like rubber. It has a gold foil sticker for "Dayton" in Detroit, Michigan. The pole does not have bending or cracking. Nice condition for its age (possibly 60s/70s)? Nice metal sleeves. Sleeves could use a little grease to put together easier. Width measures up to .75 inch and down to .25 inch.
The other pole has cracking, no brand markings or stickers. It measures 6 feet 2 inches and would just be used as Decor. It is not lacquered and skinny. No metal sleeves but splitting of bamboo at connection site.
