Item description
Rarely seen Fisher Studio Standard CR-W37 (c. 1985) dual cassette deck - a testament to impressive build-design, ease of use and servicing. Tested to play and record - from line and both hi-sped / normal dubbing - with remarkable quality for its mid-line vintage. Features auto-tape sensing supporting chrome and metal tapes, Dolby B/C NR and Soft-Touch buttons. Playback is remarkably quiet. All 6-belts changed, tape path cleaned, treated controls and jacks with DeoxIT and rollers with Rubber Renue. All functions tested OK on both decks. Only notable item is that Deck 1 door is tired and slow/spongy to open. Vintage and sold as-is.
