Designed for spreading a variety of granular materials over irregular terrain, this chest-mounted, extremely portable precision spreader is perfect for use in decorative beds with fertilizers and insecticides. Ideal for lawn maintenance operators treating parking lot islands. Eliminates banging over curbs with cumbersome wheeled units. The Solo 421 is also effective spreading ice melt, oil absorbents, seeds and a variety of granular products. From the Manufacturer Agitator allows material to drop onto impeller evenly, improving uniformity of spread and eliminating blockages. Adjustable for drop rate and direction. Fully enclosed gear box with lubricated metal gears assure long life and durability. Padded strap with comfortable, cross-shoulder design. 6-inch opening with screw-on cap. Hopper stands upright whether empty or full.
