Item description
This beautiful handworked vest features hand-done chain stitch embroidery in bright reds, oranges, and greens. The border is pale green. I don't know the origin of this vest, but it was found with other items from the Victorian to 1920s period. It is completely hand-made on what looks like a Linsey-woolsey fabric. It is unlined. It is simply amazing. It has no closures.
