Inside the shank the weight of the fire opal and diamonds has been hand engraved. It is stamped for platinum. The weight of the fire opal is 2.70 carats. The weight of the diamond accents is 0.08 carats. The total precious opal and diamond weight is 2.78 carats. In total this ring weighs 6.1 grams. It is a size 6 US and can be resized within a range. This beautiful ring is hard to display in static photographs as the play of color in the precious opal constantly shifts.
