This is the SUPER RARE VINTAGE ORIGINAL 1973 BATMAN POSTER, and it features the artwork of long-time silver age Batman and Brave and the Bold artist CARMINE INFANTINO. This 1970's Dark Knight detective poster was produced by a company called Studio One of Holmes, Pennsylvania. This poster shows the 1973 National Periodical Publications (the owners of DC Comics back in the 1970s) copyright information in the lower right corner. SIZE: This scarce original Batman poster measures about 34 1/2 inches by 24 inches. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: This extremely scarce Batman poster is the ORIGINAL 1973 VERSION, not the later version that was re-released later in 1976. The 1976 version shows copyright dates of both 1973 and 1976 on it, but THIS POSTER you're now looking at in this listing is the ORIGINAL, EVEN RARER VERSION that's strictly from 1973. That's great news! CONDITION NOTES (see photos): This '73 poster has NEVER BEEN DISPLAYED, it still retains it's gorgeous colors, it has some tanning (discoloration) on the back side of the poster from all the decades in storage, some minor crinkles, and some light creasing from being stored rolled up all these years. With that in mind, I'd grade this extremely rare poster as "fine/fn" condition (using comic book grading terms), mostly due to the tanning on the back side of the poster, BUT I'm certain that many other poster sellers and collectors would grade this poster higher (or not inform you of these imperfections). I prefer to grade more conservatively. It's incredible this scarce poster even survived the 1970's, 1980's, 1990's, the 2000's, and now. There can't be many of these posters left in existence after all these years!
