The items are made of carved wood. The brackets are meant to hang on the wall for display of statues, vases, or knick-knacks. The brackets each have metal tabs on the backside for mounting the bracket shelves to the wall (see photos). The items are not marked by a maker (see photos and determine the maker, the age, and the origin). Each bracket measures in total about 16.25 inches high, each is about 5.5 inches deep from the front to the back of the top of the shelf, and each measures about 13.5 inches wide at the top back edge of the shelf. The shelves are painted a dark brownish black (see photos). The items have some scuffs, painted finish losses, and other wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
