The Principality of Hutt River is situated 595 km north of Perth, Western Australia, and is an Independent Sovereign State, having seceded from the Commonwealth Australia on the twenty first day of April 1970. The Principality is about 75 square kilometers on area, a d is comparable in size to Hong Kong (not the New Territories).
