Vintage High School Band Hat Uniform Brass Emblem Button 60+ Years Old Antique Vintage Band Uniform Emblems Buttons Metal 1950s Mid UpCycle DIY Art Design Elements Lot has 8 Buttons = 4 each 2 sizes as shown Aprox 3/4" 1/2" - 5 Emblems = 2 different large styles Aprox 2 1/4" - These came from Band Uniforms Hats made by De Moulin Brothers Co. - Greenville, Illinois - Patent Feb. 1957. I am pictured in photo wearing the partial Vest Uniform in 1971. Then the full uniform in about 1972. We did fundraisers and earned enough to purchase new uniforms in Like 1975 I believe. (last photo) I don't know what ever made my mom think to save these! But I am sure someone will do something amazing with them! They are brass. It was kind of the last era of school uniforms for Bands that had these metal pieces. Everything after that was made of textiles only.
