Authentic Vintage Fabric Dupioni Remnant and 19 similar items

This is incredible what I believe is a Silk Dupioni fabric! It has a 2 way color sheen / color shift. Primary is a beautiful rich green with a sheen that throws to a wonderful rich navy blue. It was really difficult to photograph and get true color. The photo with my blooming cactus was me trying to color trick my phone camera to give a closer color. The darker photos were taken not in direct sunlight. Other photos show different lighting representations of color. There?s a couple photos that highlight the rich blue slub. It has an nubby / slubbed surface that is made prominent by the deep blue. It?s really unique. I believe it to be an early silk Dupioni from the 1930s / 40s. Burn test shows not synthetic. It has a beautiful hand/ drape. Made up in a vintage pattern would make a really chic piece! It has a unique texture with the slub. This would make an incredible vintage 1940s dress or long pencil style skirt with amazing pockets for accents! No matter what the make is it will be stunning! Smoke Free.
