Item description
Rare Speckled Ceramic MCM Ashtray with Mexican US Coins oval shape 13.5 x 12
One U.S. Indian Head penny missing (see pictures)
Room for 16 cigarettes
This is a rare item, I spent over an hour searching images couldn't find anything even close
I'm calling it handmade because at the very least the coins glaze were applied by hand
The numismatic value of the coins is more than $45
Inlayed with
2 Indian Head Pennies, dated 1897 1907 (it appears there were originally 3 Indian Heads)
2 20 Centavo Coins dated 1943 1945
1, One Peso Silver Coin, dated 1947, marked Mo.14 Gr. 0.500. ( contains 0.225 troy oz silver)
1, Five Peso Silver Coin, dated 1948, marked 30 Gramos Ley 0.900 Mo (contains 0.868 Troy oz silver)
Except for the missing Indian Head it's in great condition
Coins are all circulated, Mexican coins look good, the Indian Heads are worn as would be expected
No chips or cracks in the ceramic
Has no stamp, makers mark, or any indication of where or who manufactured it
Will ship carefully packaged insured
