The most important thing to remember when installing a new antenna is to make sure it is properly grounded to metal on the chassis! If not, it will not work. In an install where it will not be mounted to a grounded chassis it is best to run a separate ground wire direct to the battery. We use these ourselves and they work great. Although you can save $$$ and buy this directly from us at a good price online, this is something that we suggest be professionally installed by an experienced technician.
