This sale is an October 29,1963 UPI Telephoto showing the helicopter and landing pad purchased by the Peoria Journal Star Newspaper for newsgathering. It represents a journalistic milestone as the newspaper became the first and only newspaper in the world to own and operate a helicopter. It measures 9 inches across by 7 inches.
