If you are not familiar with Early American Pattern Glass and it?s unique properties this covered compote may not be for you. This FOUR PETAL pattern pressed flint glass compote was made by McKee glass circa 1850s-1870s. It does have the expected distinct flint ring when tapped. The condition is very good especially for 150+ year old piece of glass no chips, no cracks, no sick glass, just some rub wear to the finial, pattern edges, and underside of the foot.
