This is a narrative type Book that measures approx. 6 1/4" x 4 3/4" and is a 46 page story of 9,000 miles by sea and 3,000 miles by land as told by Bessie Brigade Boyer and the Book is entitled CHIEF OFFICER BROWN. The book is signed by the author and dated Christmas 1901 and it was published in 1900 and printed for private circulation only. Each page is roughly serrated and folded over so between the front and back of page there is a blank page - all one piece) and pages have some yellowing along edges but all intact with no tears and interesting to read.
