ANTIQUE BOOK YOUNG FOLKS' TREASURY IN 12 VOLUMES VOLUME VII HEROES AND PATRIOTS 1909 The hard cover book is in fair condition for it's age with flaws. The book was owned by my Great Grandfather W.D. VINCENT He had a large collection of books which he loaned out like a library. So on the first page of all his books will be his FROM THE LIBRARY STICKER that says: RETURN TO THE LIBRARY OF W.D. VINCENT BOSIE, IDAHO and then the book was numbered. The number was also put on the outside binding. (Pictured) On the inside back hard cover. was a numbered ticket for those who borrowed his book. The pages are all intact, but the book binding has pulled away from the pages. (Pictured) The hard cover has some wear on the front and back, with discoloration and scribbling on the back. The book measures 8 1/4" X 5 3/4" With 495 Pages There are slight rips and tears on some of the pages. The first few pages looks to have been folded at some time and straightened again but you can still see the fold. In the introduction PAGE XV there is a tear in the middle of the page (pictured) And a page later on page XVII there is a tear on the top of the page. Some discoration and browning stains on some pages. I didn't see any other rips but there are some page corners folded. For the most part the rest of the pages are clean. There are some pictures inside also. Please look at the pictures. The book has sat on a library style book shelf for the past 40+ years. We thought a collector might enjoy the book rather than to just have it sit and collect dust. Thanx for looking and check back often as we are always adding new merchandise. :D
