Wet Plate Collodion 8x10 Kit - Free Shipping This is brand new handmade Wet Plate Collodion 8x10 Kit. This kit contains: Silver Bath box with dipper, Fixer Bath box with dipper and Plate Rack. Both inner bath boxes are made of PVC-FF (black color), which is absolutely inert towards all related chemical solutions. The front plate of the fixer bath box is made of plexiglass. Both inner bath boxes are fully removable from the outer wooden containers for easier cleaning and manipulation. Both dippers are made of hard black PVC material, which is absolutely inert towards all related chemical solutions. Both outer containers are made of beech and pine wood and finished with 4 coats of lacquer gloss paint (mahogany color). Both containers are hinge covered and provided with back bracket for fixation of the bath boxes in optimum inclined position. The plate rack is made of beech wood and is optimized for holding 10 plates at one time. Empty plate rack can be folded. The whole kit and all its components are optimized for 8 x 10 in plates. Inner dimensions of each bath box are 290 x 205 x 18 mm (11,5 x 8,1 x 0,7 Inches). Each bath box with its container weighs 1300 g (46 oz). The bath box is optimized for the use of approximately 850 ml (28 US oz) of the Silver nitrate solution. 850 ml of sensitizing solution (silver nitrate) can be used to sensitize circa 100 plates (8x10 in).
